The Ownership of The People of Earth by V. Lyn

The dismantling of our democracy, and the take over of governments by corporations is happening here and in other countries. I believe the goal is to virtually enslave the 99.9 percent of the world. Not with chains and shackles but by a class system, that will manifest through taking away of our most basic rights and democracy itself. Corporations newest tactic is through the use of Citizens United, where money can silence the voice of the wealthy, middle class and the poor. (The super rich, those few truly super super rich will benefit from this play for dominance. In my view there is a power play happening and one faction of the super rich is trying to thwart it. Okay now I do sound crazy but I think there are corrupt super rich like the Koch brothers and others and then there are the super rich like the Soros and the Buffets who are trying to stop what they know is occurring. Sounds like a bad script for a bad movie but I still believe it.)Corporations are using Emergency Management Policies to further strip us of our democracy. Emergency Management in the manner that it is being used as in Benton Harbor Mi., gives entire cities over to anyone a governor sees fit when a city is deemed in financial jeopardy. It allows this entity to break union contracts, take over pension systems, set school curriculums and even to dissolve or disincorporate municipalities. “Under PA 4, EMs, who are appointed by the governor, can “exercise any power or authority of any officer, employee, department, board, commission or other similar entity of the local government whether elected or appointed.” and as in Brazil to corporations.

Even more dangerous is the fact that Corporations have encroached in our military in ways they have never have before. Governments more and more have been out sourcing our security to corporations such as Blackwater and Dyncorp. Now it is not just the technology and research that we seek from them but the very security of nations. And why would a PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM, Cerberus Capital Management, one of the largest private equity firms in the US buy Dyncorp in 2010. What use would a private equity firm have for a Mercenary Organization. An interesting tidbit did you know that the government has a policy in place in case of civil unrest. The doctrine is called OCONUS operations, FM 3-19.15 it addresses domestic unrest and the military role in providing assistance to civil authorities requesting it for civil disturbance operations. It provides the commander and his staff guidance for preparing and planning for such operations. Including metal shipping containers in case of mass unrest. http://www.fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm3-19-15.pdf

Then we have the industralization of the prison system, the ownership of the media by a handful of corporations means the diseemination of information is controlled by a few helps shapes the psyche of nations. Knowledge is power and equates to control. The takeover of our college institution by big corporations through large donations seems like a good thing but it also means that they have a stake in dictating the direction/curriculum that those institutions teach. Corporations ownership of our medical research and the medicines and even our scientific research and many instances the very findings that that research discovers.

Our world water rights are owned in many instances by corporations and now our food is owned by corporations like Monsanto.

There is a war going on and we for the most part are oblivious to this fact. We are seeing a fragment of this warfare and the strategies represented in the current election. Sounds crazy but because something sounds crazy doesn’t mean it is untrue. This election is about power and for Mitt it is not about the good he could do or the money he could make, he already would make far more in the private sector than he would holding the office of President even upon leaving the office. This is about power and controlling the direction of the world and opening the pathway further for deregulation of corporations.

Corporations have their tentacles in every facet of our lives. Walmart is pushing their competition out through sheer force, low wages. Exxon insular culture and policies it follows makes it practically a sovereign state. From Steve Coll’s book on Exxon he feels it’s corporate structure makes “It’s much more like the military.” Shadow banking entities as well as the systems has resulted in the concentration of wealth and power. The DEREGULATION by the republican party has taken away the protection, the buffer to corruption that we once had.
